Reiki is a name given to the system of natural healing which evolved from Japan in 1926. It is a form of Spiritual Awakening which can be translated as a 'Universal or Spiritually guided life force'. Reiki is a complimentary, 'hands on' healing modality that helps to harness this Universal Life Energy for personal healings.

Reiki heals all levels of our being - Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual. Reiki Level I starts with the core foundations and principles and for me it was really like an awakening and a stepping stone into this beautiful, healing world. I clearly remember my first attunement and the events that followed, it steered me on a path of self-discovery, self-love, self-acceptance and opened me up to a world that I only dreamed of.

In Reiki Level 1, each student will receive 4 attunements to the Reiki energy. I have been a practicing Reiki Master for the last 10 yrs and teaching for the last 5 years. My lineage can be traced back to Dr Mikao Usui and although a session with me might not look like a typical Reiki session nowadays, the foundation of all of my work is Reiki. Reiki is an integral and beautiful part of my life and I would be absolutely honoured to share my knowledge and experiences with you.

In the Reiki 1 workshop, you will learn:

* The 5 Principles of the Usui Reiki system
* What Reiki is and how it works
* The history of Reiki
* The hand positions used in Reiki
* The chakra system
* How to protect and clear your energy and the energy of others in session

We will then go into the Practical aspects of the workshop and will learn:
* How to conduct Reiki self-treatments
* How to conduct Reiki treatments on others

My intention for this weekend, is that you are not only attuned to Reiki energy but that you leave this workshop feeling confident in your ability to give a reiki treatment to yourself and your loved ones.

Please bring your own lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

You will also be provided with a Reiki Level 1 Manual.

A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to secure your place in this workshop.
