The Start of a New Year and New Decade!

Here it is! The start of 2020

As we cross this threshold into 2020 take the time to release, to give gratitude for all of the lessons, people, experiences, moments, life that you have lived this last year and decade and create a beautiful space within to allow all of your dreams for 2020 and beyond to settle into.

What are you ready to let go of my loves? What have you been holding onto that is no longer in alignment with you? Are you ready to release it? What beliefs, stories (oh the stories we tell ourselves) are you willing to release?

What does your heart whisper to you? What are you wanting to create for yourself and your life? Take the time to sit in your heart and really think about this. You might not have concrete ideas but you may have definite feelings you wish to create for yourself in this next decade, focus on these feelings, hold them in your heart and allow them the space and magic to come alive.

Emerging in Joy

I have mentioned it before, every year I choose a word or theme for myself. I am usually given these words in moments where I am out in nature or in the shower. They are moments, when I am usually not consciously thinking about what my theme or word for the year could be but rather in the moment when I am open to receiving it.

This year, my word is Emerge which I LOVE. I have however been open to this word changing or rather evolving throughout the year as well. To me this one word never felt complete but I embraced it and am embracing it as my theme for the year.

Today, while speaking with a beautiful friend I realised that it has evolved from Emerge to “EMERGING IN JOY” I realised then, when she asked me what are my plans for this year and my response was to be joyful in all I do. I am Emerging in Joy and it feels so darn beautiful and good and JOYful!

So my loves, be open to changes, be open to those words and themes that you have chosen for yourself for this year to change. We are incredibly, epically exciting times and you might find that within a couple of months, you have learnt the lessons you were meant to learn, you might find that you need something a little more added to your word or theme, a sub-theme maybe……you might even find that with your main theme, you have little sub-themes per month.

Be open, be curious, keep checking in with yourself and with your word/theme and allow changes to occur as need be and as you evolve and grow.
